About version update
|
Upgrade version of this software
Upgrade version is free. New version and Old version can be installed on the
same PC. When you confirm new version work well, you can delete old version.
When you install new version, old version will not be deleted automatically. If
you want to delete old version, please uninstall it by [Add or Remove Programs]
of [Control Panel] on XP PC and [Programs and Features] of [Control Panel] on
Vista / 7 PC.Upgrade version of USB flash memory
- Upgrade version from Ver.2 to Ver.4
There is not compatibility between Ver.2 and Ver.4. If you want to upgrade
version from
Ver.2 to Ver.4, please backup your data and install Ver.4 to your USB flash
memory.
- Upgrade version from Ver.3 to Ver.4
USB flash memory that install
[Free edition/+/++/#/##]Ver.3 can be used in Ver.4 without do anything. If you
want to use the additional function of [+/++/#/##]Ver.4, please confirm/change
the setting by [Disk security settings] in [+/++/#/##] setting menu.
You can do a upgrade version of
[+g/++g/#g/##g] without delete the data in your USB flash memory. The following
error message will display, when change the setting of security of Ver.4 by the
USB flash memory installed
Ver.3.
The following message will display, when USB flash memory installed
Ver.3 and run [Copy of release tool] in operation menu in Ver.4. After click OK
button, program in USB flash security will upgrade version form Ver.3 to Ver.4
automatically and release tool will be copied after installation. (After upgrade
release tool of Ver.3 can not release the security of Ver.4)
- Normally it is not necessary to install program to USB flash memory again by
upgrade version in Ver.4.
If there is any additional function or improvement of release tool and safely
remove tool , please run [Copy release tool]/[Copy of safely remove tool] in
operation to do upgrade version.
However, if the size of the space is smaller than the tool, program need to be
re-installed again.
