How to use [USB Flash Security]
    Basic usage of [Free edition] will be explained in this page.
    Please confirm the following PDF file for the usage of all editions.

    The screenshots are created by using [USB Flash Security free edition] on Windows XP SP3. Screen may be different by the edition of [USB Flash Security] or the version / service pack / settings of Windows. Thank you for your understanding.

    Free edition will be downloaded when click the left image.


  2. Please click [Save] botton,when the window of [File Download] dispalyed.



  3. Please click [Save] botton,when the window of [Save As] displayed.



  4. Download will complete, when the window of [Download Complete] displayed.
    If continue to installing software, please click the botton [Open] or [Open Folder].
    If finish installation, please click [Close] botton.

    Install software on PC
  1. Install [USB Flash Security] on PC.
    Please open the compressed (zip format) folder downloaded.



  2. Please open the compressed folder in the zip file.



  3. Setup file (UsbEnter_Setup.exe) is in the folder, please run it.



  4. If security warning window displayed, please click [Run] botton.



  5. When the window of [Welcome to the USB Flash Security setup wizard] displayed, please click [next] button.



  6. Please check the [License Article], if agree with the contents in [License Article], please turn on a check in [Agree], and click [Next] botton. If not click [Cancel] botton.



  7. When the window of [Confirm Installation] displayed, please click [Next] botton.



  8. Installation runs automatically.



  9. When the window of [Installation complete] displayed. Please click [closed] botton.
    Shotcut to run [USB Flash Security] will be created on desktop and in start menu.

    Install software on USB flash drive
  1. Install [USB Flash Security] on USB flash drive.
    Please run [USB Flash Security] installed on PC.



  2. When the following window displayed, please click [OK] button after confirming [About USB Flash Security].
    If turn on a check in [Don't display again], this window will not display next time.



  3. This is the main window of [USB Flash Security]. Please plug USB flash memory into PC.



  4. When drive of USB flash memory displayed in main window, please select the drive, and click [Install] botton.



  5. Data in USB flash memory will be deleted by installing [USB Flash Security].
    If any data is necessary,please click [Cancle] botton.
    If not, please click [OK] button.



  6. When window of security setting displayed, please input password and hint and click [OK] botton.



  7. When the window of install confirm displayed, please click [OK] button to start installation.



  8. When installing software on usb flash memory, please wait for a moment.



  9. When the window of installation complete displayed, please click [OK] botton.



  10. When install compepete, autorun.inf and UsbEnter.exe will be copied to USB flash memory.
    [NEW]Guide of product version is the link file which is copied only by free edition.



  11. If installation finished normally, the capacity of UBS Flash Memory will be [0.00GB] displayed in main window of [USB Flash Security].



  12. If installation finished normally, that the capacity of UBS Flash Memory will be [576KB] displayed in the property of UBS Flash Memory.

    Unlocking security - Method 1
  1. Please unplug and plug USB flash memory into PC.
    When the window of the AutoPlay displayed, please select [Rlease tool@USB Flash Security] and click [OK] botton.



  2. If the window of the release tool displayed, please input the password you set to the USB flash memory, and click [OK] button.
    The image link displays only by free edition.



  3. If the window of [Please wait] displayed without errors, security has been unlocked and the USB flash memory can be used as normal.

    Unlocking security - Method 2
  1. Please unplug and plug USB flash memory into PC.
    Please start Explorer, and select [Releasing Tool @ USB Flash Security] displayed by right-clicked of the drive of the USB memory in the menu.



  2. The operation of Release Tool is the same as Method 1.

    Unlocking security - Method 3
  1. Please unplug and plug USB flash memory into PC.
    Please select and start the file UsbEnter.exe in the USB memory by the explorer.



  2. The operation of Release Tool is the same as Method 1.

    Disabled Security
  1. This function will disable the security of [USB Flash Security]. And make the USB flash memory be used as normal.
    Only the USB flash memory without encryption can use this function.
    Plsase run [USB Flash Security] installed on PC, and plug and select the USB flash memory installed the [USB Flash Security] without unlocking security.



  2. Please select [Disabled...] in operation menu.



  3. When the window of [Password Imput] displayed, please input the password you set and click [OK] button.



  4. When confirmation window displayed, please click [OK] button.



  5. Please wait for a moment during processing.



  6. If the fllowing window displays, processing finished normally. Please click [OK] botton.

    Enabled Security
  1. This function will enable the security of [USB Flash Security] which is disabled by [Disabled...] function in operation menu.
    Plsase run [USB Flash Security] installed on PC, and plug and select the USB flash memory which security has been disalbed.



  2. Please select [Enabled...] in operation menu.



  3. When the window of [Password Imput] displayed, please input the password you set and click [OK] button.



  4. When confirmation window displayed, please click [OK] button.



  5. Please wait for a moment during processing.



  6. If the fllowing window displays, processing finished normally. Please click the botton [OK].

    Copy release tool to USB flash memory
  1. Copy release tool to USB flash memory.
    Plsase run [USB Flash Security] installed on PC, and plug and select the USB flash memory installed the [USB Flash Security] without unlocking security.



  2. Please select [Copy of release tool] in operation menu.



  3. If the fllowing window displays, copy of release tool finished normally. Please click [OK] botton.

    Copy safely remove tool to USB flash memory
  1. Copy safe remove tool to USB flash memory.
    Plsase run [USB Flash Security] installed on PC, and plug and select the USB flash memory installed the [USB Flash Security] with unlocking security.



  2. Please select [Copy of safely remove tool] in operation menu.



  3. If the fllowing window displays, copy of safely remove tool finished normally. Please click [OK] botton.



  4. Files autorun.inf and UsbExit.exe will be created in USB flash memory.



  5. When run UsbExit.exe, the following window will display.
    When click [Hide the protected area], protected area will be swithced to unprotected are.
    When click [Safely remove], USB flash memory will be removed from PC savely.

    Uninstall security from USB flash drive
  1. Uninstall [USB Flash Security] from USB flash drive
    Plsase run [USB Flash Security] installed on PC, and plug and select the USB flash memory installed the [USB Flash Security] without unlocking security.



  2. Please select [Uninstall...] in operation menu.



  3. Data in USB flash memory will be deleted by uninstalling [USB Flash Security].
    If any data is necessary,please click [Cancle] botton.
    If not, please click [OK] button.



  4. If the fllowing window displays, processing finished normally. Please click [OK] botton.



  5. After uninstall [USB Flash Security] from the USB flash memory,the full capacity of the USB flash memory will displayed in the main window of the [USB Flash Security].

    Uninstall security from PC
  1. Uninstall [USB Flash Security] from PC.
    Please click Control Panel it the Start Menu.



  2. Please click [Add or Remove Programs] in the Control Panel.



  3. Select [USB Flash Security] and click [Remove] botton in [Add or Remove Programs].



  4. If the confirmation window of the [Add or Remove Programs] displayed, please click [Yes] botton to uninstall the [USB Flash Security] from PC.
